Well folks, spring is here. Technically. Actually if i look out the window it looks like it's autumn.So i will definitely have the sun marked first on my list today.
In the mean time, i've checked a few other things from my previous lists as "done": i've created the separate page for my DIY inspiration (check it out!), i've had an evening all to myself for relaxation and reading, but most important of them all... i got a sewing machine!!
I'm really happy and really excited, but... how in the world do i sew a straight line?? Well... for someone who's never tried sewing before, i shouldn't ask too much of myself, right? I'll definitely do my best and practice hard! It kind of felt like i was driving a car.. with the pedal... and steering the fabric the right way... If you have any tips for me, i'll be more than grateful!! Oh! The sewing machine is a Singer 2515C.
So let's get to today's round of Wednesday wishes.
* The first thing i wish for today, as i was saying above, is the spring sun! It's so cold and grey and rainy outside! Cut it out already! Spring sun is up and shining! It's a nice, warm weather! If only i had a bit of time to enjoy it...
* Learn to sew! Now that i've got the sewing machine, i really need to learn how to sew. Somehow... i thought it would be easy... Boy, was i wrong!
* Buy thread, chalk, bobbins, fabric. Serious business.
* Have 100 sales on Funky Box Studio's Etsy shop by the time we turn one year old; that would be on the 6th of April. Current status: 92 sales.Milestone reached on the 22nd of March! Woohoo!
* Cook healthy food. Lately i've been so busy with everything that i kind of neglected my cooking duties. And i really like it! The question is: will i be able to handle everything? Have lots of things to do! But it is better to be busy rather than do nothing all day and get bored. Well days like that are needed sometimes though.
* New music on my phone. In the morning, on my way to work i listen to music. Need some new songs there.
* Buy tulips. I'm not really a flowers person, but i seem to have a thing for tulips.
That's pretty much it for today.

Oh yes, my cat loves sleeping on the heater even though she falls off it very often. :)))
DeleteI'm afraid i had so much going on that i couldn't deal with the sewing machine, but at least i made some improvements towards the reaching 100 sales goal! :D
