Gift boxes and gift tags - Christmas preparations!

We can all feel autumn is here; it's definitely freezing! However, being autumn for Etsians mean one thing: Christmas preparations!

Even though fellow Etsians have most probably already started selling Christmas items that they've been preparing for quite a while now, these are Funky Box Studio's first winter holidays on Etsy, so we're still learning. However, we've made some preparations too! We've added two more types of gift boxes and also the first round of gift tags!

First things first: gift boxes!

1. Medium size gift boxes - 5.51 x 4.33 x 1" (inches) = 14 x 11 x 2.5 cm

They come in our usual types of cardstock - white, extra white, gray and kraft. They're perfect for gift wrapping and you'll surely do lots of gift wrapping in the near future, right? Well we'll make it easier for you and provide these cute gift boxes!

2.  Medium size gift boxes - 4.33 x 4.33 x 2.36" (inches) = 11 x 11 x 6 cm

Same as the ones above and also same as all our boxes, you can choose the type of cardstock you'd want them to come in according to your preferences. Get them customized, add ribbons or washi tape or stickers or whatever else crosses your mind in order to add a personal touch. Your presents deserve cute gift boxes!

3. Small gift tags - 0.99 x 2.36" (inches) = 2.5 x 6 cm

The cute boxes i was telling you about, must have cute gift tags to go with them. Nothing easier! We make the gift tags out of the same type of cardstock we use for the boxes! You'll have a beautiful set of gift wrapping and accessories. The cool thing about our gift tags is that the cardstock is double sided: either white on one side and gray on the other or white on one side and kraft on the other. Funky gift tags, right? Remember, we can also customize them! Tell us what you'd want us to have printed on your gift tags and we'll make it happen!

Now that you're all set with the Christmas gifts wrapping, you'll also need Christmas cards! This is what we're working on right now and we can't wait to show you our results! [Etsy sale] Table numbers, kraft envelopes and gift boxes

September turned out to be a very busy month and we're really excited! If you're a seller, you keep hearing how you need to struggle for the first few months like a snowflake and then, as time passes, you'd turn into a snowball that will keep rolling until ... probably until it will get to Antarctica! Hehe!

Well i have o say i felt like a rolling snowball during this first half of the month. We had 8 sales and that's the highest number of sales we've had in a month so far! And we hope they're not over yet for September! So let's see what people wanted in September from Funky Box Studio!

1. Kraft gift boxes

Lovely customers asked for various sizes of kraft gift boxes:

- 14 x 10 x 1 cm - this was actually a custom request that we were thrilled to carry out because the person who ordered it was a returning customer! Our very first returning customer! So we shipped the package to Latvia as fast as we could!

- 7.5 x 11.5 x 1.5cm, 8.2 x 8.7 x 1 cm and 11 x 11 x 6 cm - all ordered by a single lovely customer! Shipped to Italy!

- 10 x 10 x 10 cm - cube boxes shipped to Spain!
- 6 x 6 x 6 cm - cube boxes shipped all the way to Australia!

2. Gray gift boxes
- 10 x 10 x 10 cm - gray cube boxes that we shipped in Sweden!

3. Kraft envelopes

- A6 or C6 card envelopes - it was actually our first envelopes sale so we were really excited! Shipped it earlier today again in Australia! We definitely love Australia!

4. Table numbers & Reserved signs

- a set of 27 custom table numbers that i'm actually going to create a new listing for. They turned out to be gorgeous! It was our first time using a different cardstock than we usually do, so it was quite a challenge, but the result is simply beautiful! Ivory cardstock and midnight blue ink and border... They're really amazing and i can't wait to have them listed on our Etsy shop! These table numbers traveled all the way to USA!

- another set of table numbers - black and white this time, but along with 5 Reserved signs. It was the first time we created Reserved signs, but we always appreciate our customers trusting us with their custom requests! We'll be shipping them later on today, again in the USA! Woohoo rocking USA!

[Etsy Treasury] Black and green fallfest treasury

Since i was telling you about the Coffee Talk BNS treasury  event, i figured i should stop and join as well! So i came up with a rather unusual treasury for a fall theme event, but i really do enjoy green and black in autumn, so here's the result!

[Etsy Treasury] Fallfest Multi-Team BNR Party - Promo Treasuries

Last time we had a Christmas treasury, but it's time for us to get back to present and admire the beautiful autumn colors some more!

Coffee Talk is an Etsy team i'm very fond of (and i've also been promoted to "Leader" recently! Oh, please, let me brag!) and i've been a part of for a while now. Its sister team is the Coffee Talk BNS team and right now there's an ongoing promotional event taking place until the 15th of September. Members have to create promotional treasuries in order for them to win free spots in multi-team BNR rounds! I was lucky enough to be featured in two of these promotional treasuries! Here they are!

[Etsy Treasury] Soft fall feelings

I have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to treasuries, so i figured i should get started already!

To be completely honest, i have no idea when summer came and when it left. It's like i went to sleep in spring and woke up in fall! All Etsians are already displaying not only fall items, but winter ones also! I'm doing my best to keep up, but it will take me some time to adjust.

In the mean time, the medium thin gift boxes that we've recently added to our shop and presented on the blog here, have been included in a lovely fall treasury.

Beautiful autumn colors... Where are you, summer? Hehe!

Medium size THIN gift boxes; 4 types of cardstock

The medium size thin gift boxes are the latest update on Funky Box Studio's Etsy shop. They've been on hold for a while because of our vacation, but now we're starting updating our shop regularly with new boxes, stationery and other paper goods.

The cardstock boxes we've just added are exactly what you need if you're a quilling cards crafter, but they're also great for various gifts that don't require a lot of volume in thickness. You can also use them in DIY projects or as wedding favors or party favors.

Here are the details for these cute thin boxes:

- size: medium, thin 6.3 x 4.72 x 0.6 " (inches) = 16 x 12 x 1.5 cm

- cardstock: either white, extra white, gray or kraft. You choose!

- they come in sets of 18 boxes

- you can find them in our shop here

The difference between the white cardstock and the extra white one is that only the extra white has the same color on both sides. The extra white cardstock is also a bit glossy.

DIY Medium size kraft boxes mini suitcases!

A while back i was talking about an Etsy sale of medium size kraft gift boxes that the lovely client wanted to turn into mini suitcases! Well guess what? When i got back from my vacation, there was a message waiting for me, a message from that particular lovely client, letting me know that the suitcases were a success and i even got a photo of them!

Any sale is exciting, but when something like this happens, it's getting even more exciting! I sell the main product, the base, the foundation; people take that and they use their imagination and they create lots of interesting and cute things! This time around, this client took these plain medium size kraft gift boxes...

... and she turned them into these cute mini suitcases!

The things a crafty person can do! In moments like these i really wish i didn't have two left hands! My client did, however, say that "they were a lot of work, but turned out adorable and were a hit. The boxes were perfect for the project!" Honestly, what more can an Etsy seller wish for?
